The Fostering Family program is funded by the Kinship Navigator Grant, and connects kin caregivers to important financial, educational, mental health, legal, transportation, and housing resources.
If you are raising a child or children of another family member or friend outside of the traditional foster care system, we can help. All of our services are provided free of any charge. You do not need to be a relative or have legal guardianship in order to qualify.
We are currently providing services in Bernalillo, Doña Ana, and Rio Arriba Counties. Referrals from other New Mexico counties will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Information for guardians outside of New Mexico is available here.
